Responsibilities & Context

HI is looking for some Accessibility Officer for its “Inclusive Emergency Assistance to Crisis-affected Rohingya Population in CXB and BC, Bangladesh” project funded by UNHCR.

Job Location: Ukhiya- 01

Type of Contract: Fixed-Term

Duration of the Contract: Upto 31 December 2025.

Line Manager: Team Manager

Under the responsibility of the Team Manager and the Accessibility Officer contributes to the implementation of the mandate and the 10-year strategy of Humanity & Inclusion in the country where s/he is based. The Accessibility Officer contributes to the implementation of his/her project, ensuring the optimal quality and impact of the project. S/he works closely with the programme technical team to implement all requested accessibility and construction works, ensuring they meet required quality standards and are in line with the project activity plan, HI’s accessibility guidelines, and Bangladesh building code instructions.
