Job Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment.
Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning equipment.
Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Assists in the installation and setup of new medical equipment.
Ensures that equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Provides technical support and training to healthcare staff on the use of medical equipment.
Addresses user concerns and resolved issues related to equipment functionality.
Ensures that equipment complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Assists in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
Maintains accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
Prepared and submits reports on equipment performance and any issues encountered.
Works closely with other engineers, healthcare professionals, and vendors to address equipment-related needs.
Communicates effectively with team members and provides updates on project progress and equipment status.
Assists in testing and evaluating new products and technologies.
Conducts tests and inspections to ensure the quality and performance of biomedical equipment.
Identifies and recommends improvements to enhance equipment reliability and functionality.
Manages the inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repair.
Coordinates with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary components.
