Requirements
Education
- Candidates must have obtained first class or CGPA minimum 3.00 in relevant subject with GPA/CGPA minimum 4.25 out of 5.00 scale in SSC and HSC examination.
- Preference may be given to higher degree holders if other qualifications are equal. For those candidates who have secured first rank/highest CGPA in the individual examination, the sanctioned condition of either SSC or HSC examination will have relaxed. Conditions are relaxed in case of more experience/higher degree holders.

- Candidate must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports and presentations.

- Ability to work on tight schedule and must be able to meet the deadlines·
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Power Point·
- Prepared to accept challenges and work under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context
SAIC Group contributes their effort on a large scale in the education sector in Bangladesh. Almost 1000 (Administrative + Academic) staff is employed under SAIC Group. And about 15000 Students continue their study under Saic Group. Saic Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) is looking for Lecturer (EEE) for B.Sc. Engineering courses under Dhaka University.The Lecturer main focus should be to develop and maintain effective educational programs within his/her Department and to promote the improvement of teaching and learning.·
- Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
- Developing curricula and course material that can be used across a number of platforms.
- Collaborating with other academics and lecturers to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base.
- Providing support to students and other colleagues.
- Attending and participating in meetings, conferences, and other events in and outside of the institution.
- Develop several engaging courses within your field of study, including choosing the reading material, creating assignments and arranging a syllabus.
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues within the department and throughout the institution for an enhanced learning environment that values interdisciplinary study.
- Supervise the work of students, provide advice on study skills and help them with learning problems.
- Set and mark assignments and set examination questions as well as assessing the work and progress of students by reference to defined criteria and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Develop and grade examinations, assignments, and papers while maintaining student confidentiality·
- Advise and mentor students throughout the duration of their studies, providing support and guidance as needed·
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in committees related to curriculum development and assessment, as well as other academic initiatives·
- Perform administrative tasks related to your position, such as maintaining office hours, submitting course materials, and entering student grades into the Institution system.
- Delivering lectures on time and as per syllabus·
- Conducting online classes and tutorials when required·
- Participating and speaking at workshops and seminars·
- Collaborating with other lecturers and staff members to develop and improve teaching methods·
- Providing educational and moral support to students·
- Ensuring a positive learning environment in the classroom·
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time
