• 10 years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in Bangladesh.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.

Responsibilities & Context

Job responsibility:

• Developing and implementing security protocol: This includes assessing risks, identifying threats, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Managing security infrastructure: This includes overseeing the deployment and maintenance of security tools, systems, and technologies.
• Developing and implementing security training programs: This includes ensuring staff follow security procedures.
• Responding to emergencies: This includes coordinating responses to emergencies and alarms, and compiling incident reports.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations: This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conducting audits and assessments: This includes conducting regular security audits to identify potential weaknesses or risks.
• Managing the budget for security operations: This includes controlling security department spending.
• Hiring and training security staff: This includes supervising, evaluating, educating, and training others.
• Preparing the organization and staff for external inspections: This includes preparing the organization and staff for external inspections.
• Coordinating with law enforcement agencies: This includes coordinating with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
