Responsibilities & Context

Job context:

• Showcase is the leading magazine on architecture, interior design & art in Bangladesh with the highest number of monthly publications and online reach.

• We are looking for a Proficient, Dynamic and Dedicated Feature Writer for Showcase Magazine.

Job Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write high-quality, engaging, and informative feature articles, interviews, and stories for Showcase Magazine, focusing on architecture, interior design, and lifestyle topics.

• Research: Conduct thorough research to gather accurate information and insights, ensuring all articles are well-informed and relevant to the target audience.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team, photographers, and designers to produce visually appealing and cohesive content.

• Idea Generation: Develop creative ideas for features, themes, and special issues that align with the magazine’s vision and brand identity.

• Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine content to maintain high editorial standards, including grammar, style, and factual accuracy.

• Interviewing: Conduct interviews with architects, designers, and other industry professionals to create compelling stories and profiles.

• Meeting Deadlines: Ensure all assigned tasks and articles are completed within the given timelines without compromising quality.

• Market Awareness: Stay updated with trends in architecture, interior design, and lifestyle to produce relevant and up-to-date content.

• Online Content Support: Contribute to the magazine’s online presence by creating content suitable for digital platforms and social media.

• Feedback Integration: Act on feedback from editors and stakeholders to improve and refine the writing process and output.
