Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Technical Sales professional with a strong background in Research and Development (R&D) within the paint industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in paint raw materials to drive B2B sales and provide technical support to our corporate clients. This role involves a balance of desk work and field activities, requiring frequent customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients in the paint industry.
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads to expand the customer base.
  • Utilize knowledge of paint raw materials to recommend products and solve client challenges.
  • Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, providing product demonstrations and training as needed.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and client feedback to devise effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to optimize product offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress reports.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and presentations.
  • Balance responsibilities between desk/lab-based tasks (40%) and field-based client engagements (60%).
