Additional Requirements

In-depth knowledge of maintenance processes, technical support and safety standards.
Ability to maintain accurate records and perform cost analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems for stock and inventory management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Golden Harvest Agro Industries Ltd. is a publicly listed company which is one of the pioneers in Frozen Food manufacturing in Bangladesh. The brand is known, both locally and abroad, for its wide range of ready to cook frozen products. Currently, we are looking for experienced, dedicated, honest and hard-working Asst. Manager-Technical Service (Refrigeration) for our central workshop at Vatara, Dhaka.

Responsibilities:

Perform breakdown maintenance and corrective actions on all equipment and technical fittings related to vehicle and cold storage refrigeration systems (including chillers and freezers), ensuring high-quality and timely completion.
Maintain and follow detailed checklists, log sheets and records to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and schedules.
Execute daily routine checks of refrigeration systems (cold storage, freezer, vehicles) to ensure required temperatures are consistently maintained.
Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and staff working with freezer units, ensuring adherence to service standards, work instructions and customer requirements.
Ensure the safety and well-being of team members by preventing harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation and fostering a safe working environment in line with the organization’s safeguarding policies.
Maintain daily logs, records and reports of all maintenance activities and provide regular updates to the supervisor on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Monitor and track spare parts consumption and requisitions, providing monthly reports on depot-wise usage and preparing requisitions for spare parts required for freezer maintenance.
Analyze maintenance cost variances, identify trends and prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance budgets, ensuring all operations remain within budget.
Oversee stock management, requisitions and consumption of materials via ERP for national operations, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained.
Monitor equipment performance through regular data analysis, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure optimal functioning.
Ensure timely execution of both preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks.
Assign supervisors and technicians to specific maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed on time and in compliance with all safety and operational standards.
Design and implement training modules to improve the team’s technical skills and service delivery.
Any assignments given by the supervisor or management.
