Responsibilities & Context

  • Supervises and expedites all pastry and bakery items in accordance with standards of quality, quantity control, taste and presentation.
  • Making desserts often requires several components that must be assembled individually·
  • Must be able to make Muffin, French crepe, cheese cake ,lava cake, Mud cake, Mazarin, gourmet burgers, wraps etc.
  • Responsible for determining what items need to be purchased.
  • Preparing different pastry menu, required to create own menu for development, holidays, special events and promotions.
  • Responsible for supervising other bakery/kitchen staffs as they assist in the preparation of dessert & pastry items.
  • Ensures that all recipes are reviewed regularly to provide maximum profitability.
  • The candidates have a clear understanding of the production ingredients of cake & pastries.
  • Must have to have proper hygiene training included with the all other qualifications.
  • Ensure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly
  • Assignments may change from time to time for significant purposes.
  • Checks daily to ensure that there is no wastage in storerooms, refrigerators and freezers
