Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure that appropriate welfare measures are in place, as required by Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015.
- Provide counseling and support to employees.
- Provide first aid and assistance to employees who are sick, and arrange for annual health check-ups.
- Ensure that the workplace is safe and healthy and that employees are protected from physical or sexual abuse.
- Ensure that employees receive all necessary benefits, including on-time and correct amount.
- Ensure that employees’ rights are protected as per labor law.
- Ensure that amenities such as dining, toilets, and drinking water are provided.
- Work to develop a good harmonious relationship between workers and owners, and ensure good communication.
- Ensure compliance with all compliance aspects, including OSH, chemical, fire, and electrical.
- To advise and brief workers on the use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety, etc.·
- Counseling and motivating all the workmen regarding office discipline and absenteeism.
