Responsibilities & Context

The primary responsibility is to provide finance and administrative support to the staff of Solidar Suisse Bangladesh Country Office. The Finance and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for finance, admin, logistics, procurement, operations, banking, travel and transportation, safety and security related aspects of Solidar Suisse representation in Bangladesh.

Key Tasks:

  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Schedules meetings, workshop, field visits and provide administrative supports to visitors.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Makes travel arrangements for staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
  • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
  • Collects information from the vendors of different goods and services and assist in procurement process.
  • Assists in banking and payments.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies as per instruction from Supervisor.
  • Ensure legal compliance, necessary approval, waiver, safety security and day to day operational support towards Solider Suisse Bangladesh.
  • Ensure office operations are reflected in time and managed properly.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Finance and Administrative Coordinator.
