Education

Additional Requirements

  • 25+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or revenue leadership roles, with 15+ years in the EdTech or technology sector.
  • Proven success in scaling revenue streams and achieving growth in global markets.
  • Must have a clear understanding of basic financial statements including P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.
  • Must have experience of owning and managing P&L and cash flow of any business unit independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with advanced CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and analytics.

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Market penetration in new geographies and segments.
  • ROI on marketing and sales initiatives.

Responsibilities & Context

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Under a cohesive strategy, the CRO will unify all revenue-generating departments, including global sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success. This role will focus on unlocking new revenue streams, optimizing operations, and ensuring financial performance in a competitive EdTech landscape.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Revenue Leadership:

  • Revenue Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a unified revenue growth strategy aligned with CodersTrust’s business goals and mission.
  • Market Penetration: Identify high-potential markets and design entry strategies that maximize revenue growth and learner impact.
  • Innovation in Revenue Streams: Explore and monetize innovative offerings, such as subscription models, corporate training packages, and licensing agreements.
  • Comprehensive Strategy: Implement a revenue-generating strategy for B2G, B2C, and overseas markets.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate with the leadership team to set revenue objectives, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Department Integration: Ensure seamless integration and synchronization of revenue-related departments, such as sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Fundraising: The individual will secure money for the company from several sources, including venture capital, social impact investors, banks, and NBFIs.

Sales and Market Strategies:

  • B2G Strategies: Lead and oversee B2G sales strategies to secure government contracts and collaborations.
  • Government Relationships: Establish relationships with government stakeholders and understand procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Tenders and Opportunities: Identify and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and strategic opportunities.
  • Consumer Channels: Optimize direct-to-consumer sales channels for better customer acquisition and retention.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement initiatives that increase customer demand and brand loyalty.
  • International Collaboration (USA Focus)
  • US Partnerships: Manage strategic partnerships with organizations, distributors, and stakeholders in the USA.
  • Market Entry: Determine market entrance methods, regulatory needs, and cultural factors for the US market.

Global Sales & Revenue Optimization:

  • Sales Leadership: Led global sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue targets through effective pipeline management and robust forecasting.
  • Enterprise Sales Strategy: Drive enterprise and institutional sales by targeting corporate clients, governments, and academic institutions.
  • Deal Structuring: Oversee high-stakes negotiations to secure large-scale contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Revenue Accountability: Monitor and manage KPIs such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), sales velocity, and revenue per learner.

Marketing & Demand Generation:

  • Global Branding: Position CodersTrust as a premier EdTech brand, driving awareness and trust among learners, institutions, and partners.
  • Performance Marketing: Develop and execute ROI-focused marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads and convert them effectively.
  • Product Positioning: Craft compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences across regions.

Customer Success & Retention:

  • Retention Metrics: Design programs to boost customer lifetime value (CLV) and reduce churn through personalized engagement strategies.
  • Feedback Utilization: Use data and feedback to improve services, ensuring high satisfaction rates and long-term loyalty.

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development:

  • Corporate Collaborations: Forge partnerships with corporations to offer upskilling and reskilling programs for their workforce.
  • Institutional Alliances: Establish alliances with governments, NGOs, and educational institutions to drive large-scale adoption of CodersTrust solutions.
  • Revenue from Partnerships: Monetize relationships through licensing agreements, co-branded offerings, and customized solutions.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Revenue Analytics: Implement advanced analytics to track revenue performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Predictive Insights: Leverage predictive models to anticipate market shifts and adapt strategies proactively.

Leadership & Organizational Impact:

  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with product, operations, and finance teams to align on organizational priorities and initiatives.

Financial Planning & Budget Management:

  • Budget Ownership: Manage and optimize budgets for marketing, sales, and customer success, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Financial Forecasting: Deliver accurate revenue forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Profitability Analysis: Identify opportunities to improve profit margins without compromising learner outcomes or organizational values.
