Purpose:
- The Coordinator, Partnership Management, will act as a focal point for managing relationships with donors and partners, ensuring the smooth flow of communication between sectors and units and timely delivery of programmatic outputs with donor standards. This role requires strong coordination, proposal development, and reporting skills, emphasizing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This position will also ensure donors’ feedback on the quality of the project activities and coordinate with all sectors and units under the supervision of the Lead of the Partnership Management and Project Control, Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme (HCMP), BRAC
Responsibilities:
Donor Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, acting as the primary point of contact for all donor-related communications.
- Ensure timely response to donor inquiries, feedback, and requests for information.
- Organize and participate in donor visits, meetings, and events to strengthen partnerships.
- Regularly liaise with donors to ensure compliance with their guidelines and expectations.
Planning for timely implementation:
- Assist in preparing planning- Detailed Implementation Plan, Training plan, procurement Plan, catch up plan, etc. for the UNHCR-funded projects in collaboration with the respective sector/unit leads, managers, deputy managers.
- Attend at the management meetings and providing inputs in amending planning, general guidelines as applicable.
- Contribute to the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budget preparation and revision for the Programme.
Proposal Development and Reporting:
- Contribute to developing proposals, concept notes, log frames, and budgets in collaboration with relevant sectors and teams.
- Coordinate preparing and submitting high-quality narrative reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to donor requirements.
- Contribute to amendments of proposals as needed in consultation with internal teams and donors.
Compliance:
- Ensure all donor-funded activities comply with organizational and donor standards, including financial and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with the Government Relations team to support the preparation and amendment of regulatory documents.
Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate effective collaboration among internal teams (e.g., technical units, budget control teams, and HR) to support seamless project execution.
- Represent the organization in meetings with donors, government agencies, UN bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure regular communication and updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and key milestones.
Monitoring and Quality Assurance:
- Track donor deliverables, ensuring timely and quality submission of required outputs.
- Support Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems to capture project achievements and challenges for donor reporting.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, reflection, and learning across teams to improve program effectiveness.
Advocacy and Networking:
- Strengthen partnerships with external stakeholders, fostering opportunities for future collaboration.
- Advocate for organizational priorities in coordination forums and donor meetings.
Safeguarding:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
