Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a skilled Barber Man who will be responsible for providing barbering services to our clients in Zen Spa In this position, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work station, provide excellent customer service, and stay up-to-date on the latest hair cutting techniques and trends.To be successful as a barber man, you should be able to provide quality facial hair grooming services to clients. Ultimately, a top-notch barber should keep abreast of new and emerging hairstyles and trends.Barber Responsibilities:Ø  Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles & booking appointments.Ø  Cutting and trimming hair according to clients’ instructions.Ø  Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools.Ø  Shaving, trimming and shaping clients’ beards and mustaches.Ø  Washing and conditioning clients’ hair.Ø  Providing hair treatments and coloring.Ø  Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use.Ø  Supervising apprentices and trainees if available.Ø  Providing face, scalp and neck massages.Ø  Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients.Ø  Sell hair care products and provide recommendations to clients on how to maintain their hair at home.  Barber Requirements:Ø  High school diploma or HSC/ Completion of a barbering program or apprenticeship.Ø  Proven Experience as a Barber man.Ø  Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.Ø  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holiday.Ø  Knowledge of hair care products and techniques.
