About Pawfect: Pawfect is a new platform designed to connect dog and cat owners with reliable, trusted pet sitters. Our mission is to provide a seamless and safe pet-sitting experience, making it easier for pet owners to find the right caregiver for their furry friends. We’re looking for a dynamic and driven individual to help bring this vision to life and take the product from concept to launch.

Job Description: We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong product management experience to help us design, develop, and launch our innovative pet-sitting platform. You will be responsible for both the technical and strategic aspects of the product, ensuring a smooth user experience while addressing key market needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology, product development, and pets!

Responsibilities: Product Development: Lead the design and development of a scalable, user-friendly web and mobile platform (React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, etc.).

Product Strategy: Work closely with the founders to define the product vision, roadmaps, and key features based on market research and customer feedback.

User Experience: Create intuitive interfaces and seamless user experiences that resonate with pet owners and sitters. API Integrations: Implement necessary third-party APIs for payments, location tracking, and messaging. Market Research: Continuously monitor the pet care industry, analyze competitors (e.g., Rover, Wag), and suggest new features to differentiate Pawfect.

Testing & Iteration: Oversee testing phases to ensure a bug-free launch, iterating on feedback and ensuring the product meets both user needs and business goals. Launch & Marketing: Help coordinate marketing strategies and product launch plans, ensuring a smooth go-to-market approach.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies (React, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar). Strong understanding of product management principles, including product lifecycle, roadmap planning, and user research. Familiarity with building and launching consumer-facing platforms and mobile applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Passion for animals and pet care services is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the pet care industry or on related platforms (dog-walking, pet-sitting, etc.). Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud). Experience in UI/UX design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.). Benefits: Flexible work hours and remote work options.
