Requirements

Education

  • Masters in Social Science/ Environment Science/ Climate Change/Disaster Management/Relevant Engineering discipline/ or any other relevant discipline from any recognized university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No third division/ class or below GPA/ CGPA is acceptable

Experience

  • 3 to 4 years

Additional Requirements

  • At least 3 – 4 years of working experience in development sector. Working experiences in the area of emergency response/climate change adaptation will get preference.
  • Clear understanding of content development for diverse audiences
  • Knowledge of climate change issues will be asset
  • Writing skill especially different types of content development in English is mandatory
  • Advance skill in IT (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, internet, etc.) is required
  • Skill in event management is preferred
  • Skill in partnership management is preferred
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently

JOB PURPOSE:

  • The position is responsible for strengthening the documentation and reporting of implementing Partners. The post holder works as points of contact from CBF for 14 partner organizations on project smooth implementation, event management, quarterly report review, prepare plan vs achievement, organize coordination meeting, staff capacity building of partners, M&E documents review and field visit for documentation review.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the team in assessing concept notes and proposals.
  • Support the team in processing grant agreement signings.
  • Maintain regular liaison & coordinate with respective implementing partners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Supervise potential implementing partners and provide continuous guidance to ensure quality implementation of funded projects.
  • Organize workshops, discussion and meetings and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate and arrange quarterly performance review meetings and annual planning meetings with implementing partners.
  • Visit the project sites and monitor progress/ significant changes of the projects.
  • Assist to prepare donor financial & technical reports.
  • Ensure programmatic documentation.
  • Ability to demonstrate the willingness and openness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights and diversity for all aspects of works. Takes responsibility for ensuring gender integration and social inclusion in project implementation.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • To perform any other activities assigned by the authority.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
