Requirements

Education

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology students will get preference

Experience

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Engineering Firms

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 32 years

• Proven experience in tender management or procurement, Preferably in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry (transformers, meters, poles, and electrical line accessories)
• Strong understanding of tender processes, contact management and pricing starategies.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the tender department to ensure efficient and effective tender preparation.
• Oversee and manage the entire tender process, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures till bill receives in Tender of Electrical Equipment/ Materials in all Utility boards (BREB, BPDB, DESCO, DPDC, NESCO, etc.) Preparing, analyzing and updating tender participation list by tracking APP/ DPP of relevant entity.
• Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, general criteria and risks associated with each tender.
• Maintain accurate records of tender submissions.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, engineering and finance to gather necessary information and resources for tender submission and submit report to higher management.
• Forecasting the future tenders, stay updated on industry trends & market conditions.Represent the company in meetings, presentations and negotiations with clients, vendors and stakeholders as required.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Maintain verbal and written communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
