Additional Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in sample room coordination or a similar role in the garment industry.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively interact with multiple teams.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of garment construction, woven fabrics, and sample development processes.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve production or communication issues quickly.
Time Management: Exceptional ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting purposes.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for ensuring that samples are accurate to design specifications, including fabric, trims, measurements, and finishing details.
Multitasking Ability: Efficiently handle multiple sample requests and timelines simultaneously without compromising quality.
Follow-Up and Feedback Management: Proactively follow up with the merchandising team and provide feedback from the sample room on feasibility, design adjustments, or challenges in production.
Knowledge of Buyer Standards: Familiarity with various buyer-specific requirements, quality standards, and design preferences to reduce rework and enhance first-pass approvals.
Proactive Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate and address potential delays or bottlenecks in sample production by identifying resource gaps or technical issues early.

Coordination with Merchandising Team: Act as the primary liaison between the sample room and the merchandising team to ensure clear communication of priorities, timelines, and product requirements.
Collect and communicate style-specific details, tech packs, and any buyer-specific requirements to the sample room team.
Sample Development Management: Ensure daily production of 160 woven garments is achieved by organizing and monitoring workflow.
Track the status of sample requests and update relevant stakeholders on progress, delays, or challenges.
Scheduling and Prioritization: Develop and maintain an efficient schedule for sample production to meet tight deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
Adjust priorities based on feedback or changes in merchandising and buyer requirements.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all sample requests, completed samples, and pending work.
Generate reports for management on sample room performance and highlight areas for improvement.
