Responsibilities & Context

Sales Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance within the territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities to increase market share.

Market Development:

  • Expand distribution networks by onboarding new distributors and retailers.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across the territory.
  • Conduct market visits to monitor competitor activities and gather market insights.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and support to distributors and their teams on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Sales Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales plans and promotional strategies for the territory.
  • Implement marketing campaigns, trade promotions, and schemes as per company guidelines.
  • Track and ensure proper utilization of promotional materials and budgets.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
  • Track and monitor stock levels at distributors and retailers to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, orders, and invoices.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other sales team members, including Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives, to align on goals and strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team for improvement in product positioning and promotional activities.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines related to pricing, credit limits, and sales practices.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
