Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University in Fashion Design & Technology or BA/BS in Production, Product Development, or equivalent combination of education.

Experience

• 3 to 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments, Buying House

Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 40 years

• 3 years of experience in denim wash/design/development and Management.
• Proven experience working with renowned brands such as GAP, PVH, Asmara.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Self-motivated and self-directed with a continuous desire to learn and grow.
• Flexible and agile learner able to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem solver able to troubleshoot and/or escalate issues effectively.
• Ability to utilize technical expertise to level-set expectations.
• Strong ability to drive differing viewpoints to consensus.
• Influence senior team members by providing clear, complete information.
• Working knowledge of garment manufacturing process.
• Advanced Knowledge of denim fabrics.
• Knowledge of wet & dry denim laundry processing.
• Shade band approval experience is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems such as Outlook, Photoshop, Illustrator, Word & Excel

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking a CLO expertise, local Denim Designer with NIFT or similar educational background, international brand exposure, denim fabric knowledge, wash knowledge, and strong communication skills.

• Able to conduct trend research.
• Create, and design tech-pack for development merchandisers.
• Able to source trims, embellishments, embroidery, print and apply them to products.
• Work for international brands; with excellent aesthetics & taste.
• Participation at denim fairs, Denim by Premiere vision, Kingpins.
• Able to follow the aesthetics of leading US, European, UK denim brands.
