Responsibilities & Context
• Lead and manage the end-to-end SAP projects, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables through to implementation.
• Assign responsibilities, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Actively promote the most effective use of Standard SAP throughout the business
• SAP Configuration – Hands on: Configure SAP modules based on business requirements, ensuring integration with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP etc.)
• Collaborate with internal SAP team and external consultants to configure SAP solutions to address business requirements, integrate with existing systems, and follow standard SAP best practices.
• Provide leadership and hands on support in proposing and executing SAP system configuration through to implementation to achieve the roadmap.
• Ensure where possible that this promotes the use of standard SAP functionality.
• Ensure that all SAP configuration changes are fully tested covering both unit and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure that prior to implementation that all changes are supported by documentation covering both technical specification and end user training / business procedure documents.
• Provide end user training and support to the teams impacted by change.
• Ensure a smooth transition to post-implementation super user support teams and assist in resolving any post-implementation issues that may arise and provide required documentation to support implementation.
• Establish quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews to ensure the ongoing use of SAP implementations meet agreed process and organizational expectations.
• Develop and execute a change management plan to facilitate user adoption of the new SAP processes.
• Provide 2nd Level support for all SAP modules. These currently include Materials Management, Procurement, Sales and Distribution, Production.
