Key Experience:

Proven experience on procurement and global network management in freight forwarding, focusing on sea and air freight.
Deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry, including key players, routes, and regulations in specified regions.

Key Capabilities:

A deep understanding of the sea freight industry, including knowledge of market trends, particularly Intra-Asia.
Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost-efficiency while ensuring reliable and timely freight services.
Build and maintain strong relationship with Agent, Global Networks, carriers to secure favorable rates and terms.

Functional Responsibilities:

Sourcing and negotiate competitive rates for import shipment (Air and Sea) from carriers and services providers.
Analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
Develop accurate and timely pricing quotations for customers and internal teams.
Customize pricing solutions based on client requirements and market conditions.
Maintain and update database of pricing, schedules and carrier’s details.
Prepare and present regular reports on pricing trends, cost analyses and market conditions.
Work closely with sales and operational teams to align pricing, schedules and carrier’s details.

Support contract negotiations with carriers and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.
Implement cost control initiatives and optimization measures to reduce expenses and enhance overall procurement efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to international regulations, trade policies, and compliance standards to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.
