Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

We are seeking a skilled and result-oriented Manager for the Store Department in our Woven Factory division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods. This role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities to ensure smooth operations in the store department while maintaining inventory accuracy and timely material availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of stock movements, inventory reports and material consumption. Provide regular updates to management.
• Oversee the storage and management of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. Ensure inventory is organized, accurate and easily accessible.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, products and supplies. Perform regular stock audits and ensure proper stock levels are maintained to meet production requirements.
• Supervise and train store department staff, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, SOPs and efficient work practices.
• Coordinate and manage the movement of materials between production units and storage areas. Ensure safe and efficient handling of all materials.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure that materials are available as needed, and customer orders are processed and dispatched on time with proper report documents.
• Identify and implement best practices and systems to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce waste and improve overall efficiency in the store department.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies regarding storage and handling.
• Implement and enforce storage standards, including temperature, humidity, and cleanliness controls and keep stores dry and maintain pest control.
• Ensure proper storage of goods to prevent damage or quality deterioration.
• Any other tasks assigned by the management.
