Job Context

Prime Bank Grammar School is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice Principal (Academic) to lead and oversee the academic affairs of the institution. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills and extensive experience in both the Cambridge Curriculum and the National Curriculum (English Version).

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to academic policies and curriculum guidelines.
• Maintain the quality of education through structured syllabus planning, classwork, homework, exams, and question papers.
• Develop and track benchmarks to measure institutional success.
• Guide and support teachers to maximize their teaching potential.
• Address students’ academic concerns and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Conduct regular meetings with teachers and parents to resolve concerns.
• Enforce discipline and foster a respectful student-teacher relationship.
• Organize and monitor teacher training programs as per institutional needs.
• Solve academic issues concerning teachers, students, guardians, and external offices (government, private, and other institutions).
• Play an active role in organizing school events such as Science Fairs, Cultural Programs, Debates, and other academic programs.
• Develop student learning clubs and oversee the Extra Care Program (ECP).
• Ensure proper implementation of the CAIE and National Curriculum (English Version).
• Monitor and evaluate teachers’ performance based on student/parent feedback and classroom observation.
• Supervise the development of syllabus planning, lesson plans, class routines, exam schedules, and academic calendars aligned with CAIE and Education Board standards.
• Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Principal & CEO of Prime Bank Grammar School & Prime Bank Foundation.
