Education

• Master of Arts (MA) in Economics

• A Master’s degree in Economics, Ph.D. holders will get preference.

Experience

• At least 10 years

Additional Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in economic research and analysis preferably Feminist Economist with a focus on development or the NGO sector and international development frameworks, such as the UN.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in econometrics, and economic modeling.
• Ability to conduct field research, design surveys, and collect primary data.
• Proven ability to translate complex economic concepts into accessible language for non-experts, including stakeholders from the community, government, and donors.
• Experience working on issues related to poverty, inequality, development, or social policy.
• Strong report writing skills and ability to present findings effectively.

A reputed national-level strategic communication organization working in the field of Strategic Communication with UN Women funds is looking for young, energetic, flexible, and open-minded person in the position of “Economist” to carry on implementation of social development projects. S/he will be expected to offer a fresh outlook, bringing new energy and perspective, who can work independently and together in the team.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Review comprehensive national and global Document & analysis policy gap.
• Prepare desk review report
• Conduct 8 Ministry Consultation Workshops
• Develop draft of costed Gender Action Plan for Adaption Climate Change (GAPACCs) with monitoring framework
• Observe/facilitate validation workshops for finalization on GAPACCs
• Develop final GAPACC with cost and monitoring framework
• Follow-up of getting approval of the GAPACC with 8 ministries/department
