Responsibilities & Context

Prepared requisition & Conduct Environmental Impact assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Environment parameter testing.
Responsible for proper wastage management as per buyer requirements.
Maintained monthly wastage inventory.
To maintained the records of total energy consumption of the factory.
To maintained the records of total water consumption of the factory.
Regular monitoring of energy consumption & maintained GHG (Green House Gas) Inventory.
Face the H&M ETP assessment and unannounced water sampling.
Execute the operational system /process for ETP.
Monitor daily (pH, tem. TDS), weekly (TSS, TDS, COD), Monthly (BOD) ETP performance as per DOE standard & ZDHC waste water guideline.
Communicate with DOE (Department of Environment) for ETP sample.
Maintain a document system of the ETP operation as per buyer requirement.
Contact with the lab for ZDHC wastewater test and report uploaded to the ZDHC gateway.
Regular update wastage agreement as per compliance.
Monitoring the Inditex GTW standard and face the GTW audit.
Worked on climate roadmap (Water & Energy) as per buyer requirement.
Postering on chemical and environment awareness sign & Symbol.
Regular updated the environmental policy & procedure.
Ensure Compliance chemical purchasing.
Necessary documents management on chemicals as per buyer’s requirements (Like- MRSL, RSL declaration, GOTS certificate etc.)
Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, Eye wash and safe use as per ZDHC standard.
Maintained monthly chemical inventory.
Ensure safety documents of chemicals in the workplace (SDS, TDS, Compatibility Chart, GHS Symbol, label etc.).
Communicate with chemical suppliers for collecting all kinds of updated chemicals documents (Buyers RSL, MRSL Guarantee letter, Safety data sheet, technical data sheet & others compliance related certificates).
Follow the H&M & Primark (RSL & MRSL) and maintain strictly.
Management of chemical handling in the Chemical store & workplace.
Building up awareness of chemical spill control, emergency situation & chemical handling personnel on safe chemical handling procedure.
Ensure safe chemical housekeeping.
Conduct weekly & monthly chemical audit in facilities.
Ensure PPE for the chemical users.
