- Proven knowledge and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation methods and Monitoring and Evaluation data and information management

Responsibilities & Context
Joining Date: April 2025 (Initially for 9 months)
Organizational Brief: CNRS is a well-established national NGO in Bangladesh, recognized for its strong commitment to environmental sustainability and community development. Founded in 1994, CNRS has consistently engaged in pro-environmental initiatives, earning recognition from local, national, and international stakeholders, including government bodies and funding agencies. Its innovative approaches and impactful learning outcomes have positioned CNRS as a key player in environmental conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. In collaboration with Helvetas, CNRS is set to implement the Agricultural Infrastructure component of WFP’s Resilience Program in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. This initiative aims to strengthen community resilience by improving agricultural infrastructure, enhancing food security, and supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities for both Rohingya refugees and host communities in the region.
Job Description / Responsibility
- Implement proper backup, data validation, and security procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Liaison and coordination with RRRC, CIC, site management, sectors, and implementation committee.
- Ensure quality & timely reporting.
- Close coordination and Liaison with donors for preparing different reports with necessary supporting and timely submission
- Work closely with MEAL officer of Helvetas
- Assist in developing overall monitoring plans for the project.
- Select/develop process, tools (including mobile base monitoring tools), and techniques for capturing information on project impacts, outcomes, outputs, process, and lessons learned.
- Design and manage gender-disaggregated beneficiary monitoring and database.
- Provide data and support to project team for develop quarterly, annual, and other event reports including case studies, best practices, and process documentation that capture the outcome of the project based on analysis.
- Regularly review Monitoring and Evaluation plans, tools, and other documents such as results matrices, reporting templates, etc., as may be necessary for coordination with relevant team or partners.
- Timely update and share data on the 5W matrix to the cluster management system.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of the project activities according to M&E plans.
- Lead documentation and report development from CNRS for Helvetas and WFP
- Conduct monitoring activities of all the project activities implementation and post-implementation monitoring to meet standards on a regular basis.
- Share learning and provide constructive comments to colleagues in order to ensure project quality.
- Contribute learning for project staff for adoption of new data monitoring tools and quality of data collected, including through training, mentorship, coaching, and sharing of information.
- Provide need-based orientation/training to relevant project personnel on M&E process, data gathering, and entering data into database•
- Keep track of a project’s progress and ensure its completion before the deadline.
- Provide feedback to project management for program revisions and amendments based on monitoring or evaluation findings.
- Lead in field level monitoring, studies, research, survery etc. activities.

- Key deliverables
- The Database Officer will be responsible for an accurate & complete beneficiary database, storing & preserving for donor reporting and any further purposes. He/she will develop and deliver reports & documents including quantitative & qualitative reports, case stories, etc.,
