Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Certification in hardware engineering or related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent) is a plus.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their hardware compatibility.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer with hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining monitors, laptops, and desktops. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in hardware troubleshooting, component-level repair, and system assembly. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the optimal performance of hardware systems.

Job Description:

Diagnose and repair hardware issues in monitors, laptops, and desktops, including screen replacements, motherboard repairs, power supply issues, and peripheral malfunctions.
Perform component-level troubleshooting and replacement of faulty parts such as RAM, hard drives, SSDs, GPUs, and CPUs.
Assemble, configure, and test desktop systems and laptops according to specifications.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of hardware systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding hardware-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and inventory of spare parts.
Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies, tools, and repair techniques.
Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to resolve hardware-software integration issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices during repairs and maintenance.
