Responsibilities & Context

Develop and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for fire pumps, fire doors, sprinklers, standpipe systems, fire detection systems, fire alarm systems etc.
Ensure the proper functioning and compliance of fire pumps (diesel, electrical, jockey) in line with NFPA 20 standards.
Ensure installation and maintenance of standpipe systems are compliant with NFPA 14.
Monitoring the installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13.
Schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of fire doors as per NFPA 80 requirements.
Ensure installation and maintenance of fire alarm system are compliant with NFPA 72.
Ensure installation and maintenance of fire detection system are compliant with NFPA 72.
Maintain detailed records of fire system preventive and corrective maintenance.
Maintain all documentation for RSC requirements.
Monitoring fire safety projects, including system upgrades based on modifications, repairs, and installations.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on-site to manage fire system projects.
Supervise the fire team, including Fire Inspector and Assistant Fire Inspector, ensuring thorough inspections by safety team.
Follow up on the life safety issues as per NFPA Life Safety 101 as assigned by supervisor.
Monitor and manage the performance of fire alarms, fire pumps, sprinklers, fire alarm and detection system.
Assist in identifying and resolving non-compliance issues in FDS, FPS and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Prepare all GQS documents related to preventive & corrective Maintenance.
Responsible for the care of the tools that the company provides for the performance of their work.
Perform any other operation-related function indicated by the immediate supervisor.
