- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to enhance brand positioning and expand business opportunities
- Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing buyers.
- Manage the entire merchandising process, from order confirmation to final shipment, ensuring timely execution.
- Monitor product development, costing, and pricing strategies to achieve competitive advantages.
- Coordinate with production, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Negotiate with buyers and vendors to optimize pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to align business strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor the merchandising team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee order tracking, WIP reports, and ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams for innovative product development.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Maintain clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the management.
