Responsibilities & Context
Job Overview:
We are a renowned organization looking to onboard two highly skilled and experienced Senior Spring Boot Backend Engineers. We seek individuals who are passionate about developing high-quality, scalable, and innovative backend solutions. As a member of our dynamic team, you will work on cutting-edge projects and play a key role in shaping our backend architecture with a focus on security, performance, and efficient design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated backend services and APIs using Spring Boot.
- Ensure application security through the implementation of Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth 2.0.
- Utilize JPA for effective and efficient database interaction.
- Lead various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), adhering to SOLID principles and industry best practices.
- Apply design patterns to solve complex software challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold high coding standards across the team.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in backend development using Spring Boot.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Proven implementation skills in SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in Swagger for API documentation.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git (Git, GitHub/GitBucket).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases and SQL.
