  • Specialized training in Fire & Safety Management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of fire hydrant systems, drills, and emergency protocols.
  • Familiarity with fire safety standards and industrial regulations.
  • Crisis management and decision-making abilities.
  • Retired Armed/Navy/Air Forces Officers with Fire & Safety department experience are highly encouraged.
  • Ability to handle large-scale, multi-unit operations.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and lead the execution of a group-wide fire safety strategy for factories, ensuring alignment with both local regulations and international compliance standards.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive fire safety plans tailored to the specific operational needs and risk factors of each unit within the group.
  • Monitor and evaluate the condition, availability, and readiness of all firefighting equipment across all units, including fire extinguishers, hydrants, sprinkler systems, and alarm systems.
  • Ensure routine maintenance, timely inspections, and necessary upgrades of fire detection and suppression systems to guarantee they remain in optimal working condition.
  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments and hazard identification exercises in all facilities, followed by the implementation of appropriate fire prevention and control measures.
  • Oversee and guide the installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection infrastructure, ensuring all systems meet national fire codes and buyer-specific requirements.
  • Design and implement industrial evacuation plans for each unit, ensuring maps and instructions are clearly displayed and understood by all employees.
  • Organize and lead scheduled fire drills to test evacuation procedures and staff readiness, analyzing results to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and deliver structured fire safety training programs, including hands-on firefighting techniques, equipment usage, and emergency protocols for factory-level safety teams.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly sessions with fire safety officers at each unit to reinforce best practices, address challenges, and align efforts across the organization.
  • Maintain regular communication with compliance bodies such as Accord and Alliance, managing audits, inspections, and corrective action plans professionally and promptly.
  • Report fire safety performance, risks, incidents, and compliance status directly to senior management, providing recommendations for strategic improvements.
  • Promote a culture of safety and preparedness throughout the group, setting high standards for accountability, training, and continuous improvement.
