Requirements

- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience as a Quality Checker in a reputed apparel manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, inspection processes, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with various types of garments (woven/knit/denim/outerwear) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and report writing is desirable.
Responsibilities & Context
MHRS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Checker to join our quality control team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment quality inspection with in-depth knowledge of fabric, trims, stitching, measurements, and finishing. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet company and client standards before shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inline, mid-line, and final inspections on garments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Inspect fabric, accessories, and trims to verify compliance with required specifications.
- Identify and document defects related to stitching, fitting, measurements, prints, embroidery, and finishing.
- Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and internal SOPs.
- Collaborate with production, merchandising, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor quality performance and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Conduct random audits and maintain a record of all findings and corrective actions taken.
- Provide feedback to the production team on recurring defects to reduce rework and improve first-pass yield.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards in the production area.
