Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing/Sales

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing/Sales), Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.
  • MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years

  • Age 28 to 45 years

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in marketing, sales or business development in battery sector.
  • Experience working with Lithium-ion battery sales, energy storage systems, solar projects, electric vehicle infrastructure, or industrial batteries will be highly preferred.
  • Strong network and working experience with industrial clients, EPC contractors, telecom companies or energy project developers in Bangladesh.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Must have technical know how about all kinds of Battery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and market insight.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technologies and applications will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Fluency in Bengali and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities & Context

Company Overview:

Gtech Solution Ltd, a leading renewable energy and infrastructure company in Bangladesh is partnering with a reputed Chinese Lithium Iron Battery company, a global leader in energy storage solutions, to set up a Lithium-ion Battery Assembly Plant in Bangladesh. To support the project we are hiring a dynamic, ambitious and competent professional to lead our marketing, sales and business development activities in Bangladesh.

Work Location: Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for Lithium-ion battery products across Bangladesh.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as renewable energy, electric vehicles (EV), telecom, energy storage systems (ESS) and industrial applications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B customers, government agencies, EPC companies, industrial users and distributors.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations and technical proposals to clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to fine-tune marketing strategies.
  • Set up distribution channels and dealer networks across key regions.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical, operations and management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Represent Gtech in industry fairs, exhibitions and stakeholder meetings.
  • Regularly report to senior management on market intelligence, sales forecasts and business development progress.
