• Minimum masters in sociology, anthropology or gender studies with a good academic track record from reputed universities only.

Additional Requirements

• Experienced persons will be given preference.
• Fluency in English and good command over written English and Bangla.
• Excellent computer operation skills.
• Publication in international journals will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context

BISR Trust is a non-profit multi-disciplinary research organization. Its research findings have been published in 80 national and international well-reputed journals. The organization is now inviting applications from Bangladeshi citizens for the position of Research Associate (Social and Gender Division) to recruit urgently. The position is equivalent to the lecturer of the university.

The tasks of the RA will be:

• Preparing research proposals, research reports, research articles, op-ed, SIA reports, seminars and workshop presentations
• Attending national and international seminars, workshops, etc. and give presentation
• Monitoring and supervising on-going research works to ensure completion within time, budget and right quality
• Other works as assigned from time to time.
