Education

• Diploma in Textile Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production

• Candidate should have good knowledge on fabric nature & Composition, pattern, marker & CAD;

Responsibilities & Context

Ensure Finishing production quality by reviewing buyer guidelines, SOP & flow-chart, placement of team members, guiding on work processes & critical points, close monitoring on execution stages, collecting defect reports, taking corrective actions, motivating QA & production persons toward Quality at Source and leading the Finishing Quality Assurance team.

• Oversee the inspection of finished garments for defects, stitching, color matching, and overall quality before packaging.
• Ensure that all garments are correctly ironed/pressed, maintaining consistency in finish and shape as per buyer requirements.
• Identify and segregate defective garments, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are taken.
• Perform final size checks to ensure garments meet the required size specifications and fit standards.
• Supervise the finishing process, ensuring all steps (trimming, buttoning, labeling, etc.) are completed correctly.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily inspections, defect types, and corrective actions taken, and submit them to the QA Manager
• Ensure all finishing operations comply with internal quality standards and are ready for external audits.
• Provide training and feedback to the finishing team on quality standards and process improvements.
