• The candidates should have a valid driving license for motorcycle and the mentality to work anywhere in Bangladesh.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent computer skills including SPSS, KOBO, Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet searching.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Christian Service Society (CSS) is a renowned national NGO with 2,100 employees. We are currently looking for an experienced ” Research & Development Officer” who will be assisting and developing different types of research and study  plans for CSS Micro Finance Program (MFP) individuals and teams. S/he is responsible for designing and conducting different Research & Development related work for CSS Micro Finance Program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop study implementation plans and allocation of roles and responsibilities, piloting of study tools, management and monitoring of field work for CSS Micro Finance Program.
• Review the methodology of different study/research theme.
• Eloquence in writing editorial, study essay, research paper on given topics, social media expression, drafting documents and release etc.
• Plans, implements, maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol.
• May coordinate the collection and analysis of research data.
• Conduct literature reviews, developing research tools, data collection and Qualitative, Quantitative data analysis.
• Provide training and support to the enumerators for field and remote research activities.
• Visiting the field to monitor data collection and provide active support in the process.
• Arrange field meetings with professional experience and communicate with direct stakeholders (MFP Related).
• Organize and participate in training workshop and help improving research toolkit Collect survey data.
• Conduct IDI & KII and Translate IDI, KII, FGD Prepare/ draw maps, matrix and some other qualitative techniques as required by the project staff.
• Making Terms of Reference (TOR) as per organization need (MFP Related TOR).
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.
