Requirements

• B.Sc. Engineering in IPE/ Textile/ Honors or Masters (having Science background) from reputed public or private university.

Experience

• At least 4/5 years of experience in Garments IE at Cutting/ Finishing/ Printing & Embroidery section.

Responsibilities & Context

• Prepare report on Table and Process wise manpower counting and assist production supervisors to re-balance due to worker’s absenteeism for a particular table and process.
• Make finishing layout and distribute ironman according to the style wise sewing output.
• Distribute/ allocate manpower properly and balance the finishing layout.
• Assess new recruited workers skill level, negotiate and fix salary based on skill.
• Conduct all finishing worker’s skill evaluation regular interval,  maintain skill matrix and evaluate worker’s performance.
• Calculate finishing SMV, Conduct capacity study & update finishing SMV databank.
• Calculate finishing efficiency and work to increase efficiency.
• Conduct time study and method study in finishing operations to find out best method.
• Record and analyze NPT (non productive time) in finishing with responsible section and reason, and reduce NPT Provide production target in finishing and make follow up to meet the target.
• Monitor finishing production, finishing efficiency, finishing quality (DHU).
• Manage OT according to shipment plan effectively.
• Do root cause analysis and reduce DHU of finishing section Improve finishing operations and if needed implement new technology to reduce cycle time Implement new IE concept and improve finishing section.
• Check the availability of finishing accessories for the running styles and ensure supply chain considering shipment date.
• Monitor shipment schedule and ensure shipment date and quantity with finishing incharge.
• Work with sewing IE along with finishing and sewing incharge for style closing.
