Responsibilities & Context
- Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems (e.g., cutting machines, dyeing machines, compressors, boilers, HVAC, etc.)
- Ensure optimal performance of production machinery and utilities.
- Lead, train, and develop the mechanical maintenance team.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement long-term solutions.
- Optimize machine uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols for mechanical equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for timely procurement.
- Monitor usage of consumables and ensure cost control.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines.Participate in capacity expansion or machine modification projects.
- Maintain maintenance logs, downtime reports, and performance metrics.
