  • Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.

Responsibilities & Context

Hotel Bengal Blueberry, a four-star hotel in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, offers 107 rooms, three banquet halls, a fine-dining restaurant, and exceptional hospitality services tailored for corporate and leisure clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in planning, implementing, and maintaining all IT systems across the hotel.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring optimal performance of servers, networks, computers, and software.
  • Manage the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS), Wi-Fi networks, and guest-facing technologies.
  • Supervise IT support staff and coordinate task assignments, ensuring timely issue resolution and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand and fulfill their IT needs effectively.
  • Lead IT-related projects, including system upgrades, software deployment, and digital integration initiatives.
  • Monitor cybersecurity measures to protect data and IT systems from unauthorized access or breaches.
  • Ensure data backup routines and disaster recovery systems are in place and regularly tested
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation including network maps, asset records, licenses, and user manuals.
  • Liaise with vendors for hardware procurement, software licensing, and third-party service management.
  • Conduct periodic training for staff on IT systems, security protocols, and new technology tools.
