Additional Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in fashion design, with a focus on outerwear
Experience working with well-known local or international fashion brands in Bangladesh
Solid understanding of fabric types used in outerwear (nylons, polyesters, technical textiles, etc.)
Basic to intermediate knowledge of garment construction and technical design
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, particularly in outerwear
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Experience working directly with buyers or international clients
Familiarity with sustainability and innovation in textile selection and garment finishing

Lead the design and development of outerwear collections (e.g., puffer jackets, zipper jackets, quilted coats, etc.)
Collaborate with the product development and technical teams to translate design concepts into final products
Select appropriate fabrics and trims with a clear understanding of their performance in outerwear
Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends and incorporate them into seasonal collections
Work with merchandising and buying teams to understand customer needs and brand positioning
Coordinate with sample development teams to ensure prototypes meet design and technical standards
Participate in fittings and provide feedback for corrections and improvements
