Requirements

Education

Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting / Finance

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    NGO, Development Agency

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 40 years

Minimum 5 year of proven experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Experience to maintain necessary communication and liaison with NGO Affairs Bureau, Social Service Department  and relevant government offices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Tally, is an advantage.

Familiarity with tax laws and regulations.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

Checking of Regional Offices/Projects bills and vouchers.

Preparing of bank and advance reconciliation.

Maintaining the general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers.

Organizational Annual Income Tax Filing for DCT Assessment and Appeal/Tribunal (if needed).

Budget preparation and its control.

Preparation of advance reconciliation.

Prepare donor financial reports, manage external audits, and provide NGOAB reporting as required.

Preparing other duties relevant to the project as required.

Assisting with preparation of the budget & Maintain accounts files and records.

Cash and bank management and communicate with NGO Affairs Bureau assignments.

Preparing donors report.

Assisting the annual audit.

Maintain all sorts of accounting entries by tally software.

Keep liaison with NGO Bureau officials for project approval.

Keep liaison with Social Service Department for registration and its approval.

Prepare documents for Social Service Department for Annual Submission of organizational report.

Prepare the necessary papers and documents to be submitted in the NGO Affairs Bureau for renewal of the FD Registration, and to deal with Bureau for approval of projects and programmes on behalf of the organization.

Prepare FC-1, FD-2, FD-3, FD-6 and FD-7 for submitting in the NGO Affairs Bureau to help release the foreign donation in favor of the organization.

Prepare and submit the Annual Project Performance Report and Project Completion Report according to NGO Affairs Bureau Format in due time for all foreign donated Projects /programmes as per the requirement of the Bureau.

Submit project-wise Annual Audit Report to the NGO Affairs Bureau and to meet them up if they have any queries in consultation with the Forum management.
