Education
B Com/Masters in Accounting/ Management/ Finance from reputed University/ Institutions.

Experience

  • At least 5 years

Additional Requirements

  • Familiar with tally soft-ware accounting system
  • Strong computer knowledge on Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Has knowledge on VAT/Tax compliance
  • Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
  • Always maintain and follow Child Protection policy in all aspect
  • All kind of positive motivation to support and response in emergency
  • Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
  • Willing to work with partially flexible work hours
  • Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
  • Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license

Responsibilities & Context

  • This position is responsible for overall accounts, admin, and logistics management of respective project.
  • Manage project office accounts related letters, documents, registers like payment register, asset register, disbursement register, check register, movement register etc.
  • Up to date cash book, ledger book, journal, bill & vouchers, bank ledger, and correspondence files.
  • Support to prepare Financial Reports (Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annually etc.) and submit to supervisor.
  • Support to run project activities smoothly & proper financial management coordination with project focal person.
  • Support internal and external auditors for completion of respective project audit.
  • Ensure payment of salary to the staffs in his/her assigned project.
  • Ensure payment to suppliers on time in his/her jurisdictions.
  • Overall responsibility on budget execution.
  • Timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in line with organizational and donor requirements and deadlines.
  • Prepare all financial statements as per requirements.
  • Provide logistics support during training, meeting, workshop etc.
  • Organize and ensure all purchase/procurement of materials, equipment, and any other official goods following procedure/policy.
  • Provide necessary support to procurement related work and its documentation.Assist to vendor enlistment.
  • Provide support HR related work of respective project.
  • Ensure vendor monitoring and quality service.
  • Proper maintenance of the stock (fixed, consumable items and stationery) and check these physically on regular basis.
  • Maintain and check the log books of the motorcycles.
  • Ensure security of the assets and office.
  • Assist program staff in administrative and financial work.
  • Regular tally ensure and communicate with management.
  • Proper maintains of VAT/Tax calculation as per government policy.
