We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at our Depot to ensure the smooth operation of our financial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Coordinate and support the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
- Manage inventory accounting and oversee the financial transactions related to the depot.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Prepare and file tax returns and handle other regulatory compliance matters.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
