  • Working experience with children and youth, livelihoods, Human Trafficking, Gender-based violence, Prevention of Child Marriage interventions, Protection, and SRHR.
  • Willing to drive motor cycle with valid driving license
  • Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
  • Willing to travel and work in the most remote Area

Responsibilities & Context

Resource Development Foundation (RDF) is one of the largest nationwide development organizations (NGO) in Bangladesh. The organization is going to implement from June 2024 to March 2026 “Fight Slavery and Trafficking-In-Persons (FSTIP) Activity’ funded by USAID. The “Fight Slavery and Trafficking-In-Persons (FSTIP) Activity’ project will be implemented in 15 (Fifteen) Upazila under Chattogram, Cumilla, Cox’s Bazar, Bagerhat and Satkhira District in partnership with Winrock International. To implement the project, RDF invites applications from the competent and qualified persons for this positions.

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for providing support for preparing / reviewing project budget, tracking grants expenditure, and managing books of accounts. The incumbent will also be responsible for working with the divisional team on budgeting, financial reporting and compliances including internal and external audits.

Major Deliverables:

  • Works with project team members for review and develop detailed budget according to the approved project budget and agreement
  • Prepare fund requisition and submit to Winrock International in time.
  • Recover and manage budget related compliance issues and reports.
  • Ensure effective financial and administrative of the project activities.
  • Any other job assigned by the management.
  • Salary reconciliation, staff information, timesheet and daily transaction update and report to partner in time.
  • Support project team for expenditure tracking
  • Ensure timely payment to the vendor for smooth implementation of the project activities.
  • Verify the quality and price of necessary materials/accessories for the project
  • Ensuring the distribution of productive assets to the targeted beneficiaries.
  • Maintain cash book, ledger book, and relevant register regularly.
  • Vendors’ bill vouchers review and ensure all supporting documents.
  • Report to Project Manager
