Responsibilities & Context
Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Prothirodh Jot is looking for a dynamic and career oriented hard working ‘Accounts Officer’ to manage the accounting system of the project implementing in Pabna and Natore. The details eligibility requirement of the position as mentioned below:
Job Location: Pabna and Natore (frequent CSO’s visit)
Job Description/Responsibility:
- Assist Project Accounts Officer works with Different Partner CSOs (Pabna and Natore District) of the project of ECSAP under Christian Aid Funded Project.
- Assist Project Accounts Officer maintain all Accounts system, Documentation and Reporting Process with 4 Partner CSOs (Pabna and Natore District) strictly and other 4 CSOs are monitoring with monthly basis.
- Conducting all banking relevant work, collect and deposit cash, cheque as per project requirements.
- Assist in preparing accurate financial reports and other compliance supporting documents to HI monthly/quarterly/yearly basis following the donor template within the deadline;
- Assist in preparing monthly budget forecast, with quarterly and monthly budget break-down, for projects;
- Assist in preparing and submission quarterly fund requisition to project management in alignment with approved project budget·
- Prepare daily receipts and payment vouchers, journal vouchers of project related expenses;
- Assist in preparing staff salary sheet of assigned projects and respective pay slips;
- Maintain Cash book, Ledger book and other required register(s).
- Prepare monthly VAT and Tax payable statement and prepare online VAT & Tax challan and deposited and documented as per Government Rules.
- Supports WE CAN Finance Officer with information and documents as requested;
- Ensure Value for Money principles are adhered to throughout the project;
- S/he will work under guidance of Accounts Officer
- Prepare the yearly budget for the ECSAP project and make any necessary revisions following senior guidance. Work with Finance and Accounts to finalize the budget.
- Support the project team in preparing financial reports, budget forecasts, analysis of value for money (VFM), any financial or commercial gain during procurement, asset register, etc. for donor reporting and guide the project with financial tracking and analysis.
- Support the project team to communicate with the internal audit team for audit findings, prepare analytical reports & share the report with the team and stakeholders.
- In addition to perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Compensation & Other Benefits
Salary Range: BDT 260,000-325,000/- Yearly (Gross)
