Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and help manage budgets.
- Calculate and prepare tax-related documents and statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain payroll records and assist with salary processing when required.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with customers or vendors.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports for management.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters.
