Experience
- At least 10 years

Responsibilities & Context
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) is the national professional body responsible for regulating and promoting the accountancy profession in Bangladesh. To strengthen its visibility, engagement with members, and public positioning, ICAB seeks to engage a Communication Specialist to lead strategic communication, public relation and media relations for the position of Additional Director, Branding & Communication.
The objective of the Additional Director, Branding & Communication, is to enhance ICAB’s institutional visibility, ensure consistent branding, and apply a digital-first, member-centric communication strategy. The Communication Specialist will oversee media engagement, public relations, digital platforms, and event communications.
Position Details
Position Title: Additional Director, Branding & Communication, reporting to the Director of Corporate Services Division.
Supervises: Communication, PR and Media Advocacy

Key Responsibilities
The Additional Director, Branding & Communication will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and branding strategy for ICAB across all platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationship with media, both print and electronic and digital
- Design and implement a Digital-First Member-Centric Communication for ICAB members related to newsletters, announcements, and digital content tailored to member needs
- Monitor, manage and update the Digital Platform Management (ICAB’s website, FB page, Linkedin, etc.)
- and Maintain and ensure Communication Content Development and media visibility for all ICAB events
- Develop high-quality written and visual content for various communication products and channels aligning with ICAB’s communication strategy
- Maintain and support regular communication with key stakeholders including members, partners, media and other external communication and representation
Routine and work plan deliverables
- Annual Communication and Branding Strategy
- Monthly communication plans and content calendars
- Regular press releases and media coverage reports
- Updated website and active social media platforms
- Event communication materials and post-event reports
- Quarterly performance and analytics reports
