Responsibilities & Context
- The candidate must have extensive knowledge in apparel marketing, product development, buyer communication, costing, and team management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and sourcing agents.
- Lead the marketing & merchandising team to ensure on-time product development, sampling, costing, and order execution.
- Analyze market trends, develop marketing strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
- Plan and oversee the order booking process to ensure production and shipment deadlines are met.
- Ensure proper costing and pricing negotiations with clients to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth order processing.
- Support senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
