  • A conceptual and technical understanding of interior design aspects.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering and interior design projects.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, Microsoft Office. Strong communication and leadership Skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Candidates with PMP (Project Management Professional) will get Preference.
  • Proficiency in Automatic Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD).
  • Candidates with the experience of working for 5 Star Hotel projects will get preference.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: Meghna Hotel and Resorts Limited (MHRL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is going to build a country-leading Five Star Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building with aesthetic and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Dhaka City, Bangladesh. The position ‘AGM/DGM’ (project management role of Civil and Interior)’ will be responsible for the project planning, executing, and construction of Meghna Hotel & Resorts Limited. The position will report to the Project Director of MHRL.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans (Civil and Interior), including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for Meghna Hotel & Resorts Ltd.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and other stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Lead to supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site. Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure it aligns with project specifications and timelines.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction. Lead to implement Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements for Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building.
  • Monitor and address any design-related issues/abnormalities during construction phases.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure they stay within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
