Responsibilities & Context
- To supervise and monitor the overall mechanical engineering functions across all factories under the group.
- To develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- To supervise the repair and servicing of machinery, utilities, and mechanical systems efficiently and cost-effectively.
- To assess and optimize machine performance, energy usage, and life-cycle management of equipment.
- To ensure timely execution of maintenance schedules by coordinating with factory teams and vendors.
- To establish SOPs and technical documentation for mechanical systems and ensure compliance.
- To lead and mentor engineering staff, ensuring high performance, skill development, and safety compliance.
- To conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
